1152 square feet. For some it would be a mansion, for others it would sound like a joke. For the tiny house aficionados it is excess, for someone who lived in homes over 2000 square feet how do you adjust? My wife and I lived a dream on a lavender farm of our creation. We raised chickens and vegetables had an orchard of apple trees, peaches and plums. In early summer we picked blackcap raspberries, made jam and canned tomatoes. Now we are moving from 2685 square foot 1840's farmstead to a home less than half. 1152 square feet we will call home. How to shrink our stuff and shrink our minds and attitudes to live in this reduced state? That is the story of this blog. How we transition and what the change gives us.
